Carefully detailed, enduring reproductions created from antique samples or illustrations. Lengths vary from single seat to 12' one piece slats and various lengths of multiple piece sections. Cast Aluminum center support leg and arms are available in benches 6' or longer. Herwig Wood Slats are fine sanded with contoured edges in natural, sealed or stained finish for lasting beauty in Red Oak, Purple Heart, Redwood, or Teak. Other Species available upon request.

Using our illustrations, templates or original models, Herwig Lighting has been able to historically and accurately re-create some of our past’s most desired benches.

Over a Century of Quality

Just as the importance of quality construction and materials was important for our original Herwig Lighting AR founders in 1908, it is still the focus of our mission today. Each of our Park Benches is constructed using the best woods, stains and metalwork available in the industry. All wood slats used on benches are hand-sanded with contoured edges. Seats can be manufactured as a single seat or can be assembled as 12’ one piece slats and various lengths of multiple piece sections. The finished product is available in natural, sealed or stained finish designed to provide years of lasting beauty. Customers can choose from the following wood choices for their benches:

-        Redwood,
-        Teak,
-        Other woods may be available upon request.

Solidly constructed from the ground up, all Outdoor Park Benches are manufactured to provide many years of enjoyment. To further provide stability, all 6’ and longer benches feature Cast Aluminum center support legs and arms. If seeking a heavy cast bench, without arms, Herwig Lighting proudly recommends the 4’ long, Courthouse Bench. Remembering the smallest details, this bench is available with custom lettering or a name on the back of the seat, making this a truly personalized, favorite rest and relaxation spot.

The London Bench, Railroad Bench and Victorian II Bench are all combination wood/aluminum seating areas featuring corner arms. Available in varying length sizes, users can select the perfect styled bench for their needs and collaborate with us to create your perfect seating area. Each a representative of its own style, every bench features its own unique design elements that can be mixed and matched to create the perfect combination of comfort and style.  In addition to different wood choices, some benches allow customers to choose from a black or dark bronze finish. For customers who enjoy designing furniture, the Railroad Bench is available with an open design in the legs or can be manufactured using your own custom design.
